We’re excited to introduce Aquent’s latest talent tool, Social Update: a quick and convenient way for job seekers in our network to let our agents know of any new skills, education, and experience they’ve acquired.
One of the most important aspects of professional life today is making sure your work profiles are always up-to-date. This is especially true for LinkedIn, which has been dubbed the “business” social media outlet. Crafting a work profile to yield the best possible results is key - as suggested in these tips.
Being in the talent placement industry, Aquent knows most people are either working long hours, looking, or both. Taking valuable time updating business profiles across multiple platforms - from staffing agencies to the applicant tracking systems of potential employers - is tedious. But, with the job market being what it is right now, recruiters are actively sourcing candidates through work profiles, instead of sifting through piles of resumes. This trend is only going to increase as technology evolves, so profile updates are a must.
A job seeker’s time is valuable. This is one reason we’re excited to introduce Aquent’s latest talent tool, Social Update. This is a quick and convenient way for job seekers in our network to let our agents know of any new skills, education, and experience they’ve acquired. For talent in our network with a MyAquent account, this is extremely important because our agents perform keyword searches using the MyAquent database for finding top-tier candidates for our clients.
It works like this: Social Update syncs LinkedIn, Facebook, or Google+ profiles to a talent’s MyAquent account and his/her information is updated instantly, letting us know about important career advancements. This is just a one-time sync, so talent are encouraged, when social profiles are edited, to log in to their MyAquent account and sync with their profiles using Social Update.
Social Update launched this week, meaning there’s no better time to log in to MyAquent and use it. If you don’t have a MyAquent account, you can create one here.
