With a motivational IT Security Manager at the helm they are bringing their security operations in-house.  A great greenfield opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst who enjoys working within a dynamic team and taking ownership

The IT Security function is fundamental to their continued success.  Enabling the confidentiality, integrity and availability (CIA) of data to it's optimal quality and additionally, ensuring that the businesses are well facilitated and equipped to meet challenging business environments.

The purpose of Cyber Security Analyst is to collaborate and support the day-to-day security management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhancing the information security management framework (based on the NIST) to ensure best practice controls that are fit for purpose and compliant
• As a key member of the incident response team you will co-ordinate activities between vendors, staff, legal and law enforcement
• Act as the subject matter expert for major projects, your opinion and knowledge are essential to provide insights 
• Review security threat intelligence and alerts, assess and react business impact 

You Will be:

• A qualified security analyst with relevant certifications CISSP, CISM
• Possess demonstrated experience with Splunk software
• Bring a minimum of three year's experience supporting information security capabilities
• Have a deep understanding of the wide array of threats and vulnerabilities that characterise the modern day cyber attack
• Strong background in risk assessments, security policy and governance

It's pivotal that you are highly analytical and bring a good understanding of information security processes and frameworks. Working closely with business customers you will ensure fit-for-purpose, risk based approaches are taken to deliver good business outcomes.
