                                                        ACCOUNT DIRECTOR


●       $110,000 - $120,000 package

The Employer

Aquent are recruiting for one of the most trusted Advertising Agencies, who are part of a global network. They are an award-winning agency, who have been creating innovative marketing campaigns for 50 years.

They are on the hunt for an Account Director to work in a well-oiled team, with a low turnover of staff. Reporting to the Client Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to manage well established, long standing FMCG accounts, with fantastic brands such as Cadbury’s.



●       Utilise your expertise and stakeholder engagement abilities, to build an opne and honest relationship with the client and all relevant internal teams

●       Develop an understanding of the client’s organisational structure, internal political and culture of the business

●       Responsible for the development of business plans, marketing plans and short-term communication strategies based on the client’s vision and an in-depth knowledge of the FMCG market

●       Seek out opportunities to grow the relationship with the client

●       Write strategies and briefs that inspire great work

●       Lead major strategic and creative presentations to the client, utilising your influencing skills and ability to sell creative ideas

●       Hold your own with senior stakeholders and push back/debate with them constructively to defend our recommendations

●       Able to lead a cross functional agency team in developing an delivering the highest standard creative product for our clients


●       You will have demonstrable FMCG experience in a similar role

●       Experience delivering ATL marketing campaigns & writing briefs

●       Strong financial acumen, comfortable managing significant levels of fee income and production spends

●       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to build internal and external relationships

●       Previously managed and mentored an Account Manager or Account Executive

●       Able to hold your own in meetings with senior stakeholders, comfortable pushing back where needed
