Senior Graphic Designer / Lead

• One of Australia’s fastest growing electrical appliance brands
• 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
• $120k + super
• Hybrid – Sydney / Condell Park
• Start date: ASAP by Jan 2024
• Must have experience leading a creative team.

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join their team for a 12 Month Contract with all leave entitlements.

Working in a manufacturing/product environment with both B2B and B2C retail marketing, your work will be varied and rewarding.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Experience leading a team
• Design solutions that embrace best-practice approaches across digital marketing, social media, promotional materials, video content, trade marketing and consumer collateral and take designs from concept through to finished art while meeting deadlines
• Experience in creative thinking & art direction
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite • Experience with eDM design and creation • Experience in creating all digital assets including web pages based on approved style guides, banners, gifs, social media assets

The role:

• Develop and deliver creative solutions managing a team of 2 graphic designers (direct reports)
• Create and manage high quality and consistent brand creative content across all social media, digital assets, events, printed consumer & trade marketing, digital advertising and marketing
• Review designer drafts from graphic designers to ensure quality & consistency, aligning with Senior Marketing Manager
• Maintain collaborative relationships and consult with key stakeholders to understand requirements, interpret the concepts to be communicated, and to determine strategies to deliver a clear message to a particular target audience

About You:

• Experience in creative thinking & art direction
• Strong communication skills, including experience in stakeholder management, project management and an ability to work within strict deadlines.
• Experience in people management while also managing own project work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with eDM design and creation
• Experience in creating all digital assets including web pages based on approved style guides, banners, gifs, social media assets
• Basic to intermediate HTML knowledge/skills
• Desirable: experience using enterprise CMS
