As Senior Content Strategist in the Personalisation Group in one of Australia’s big four banks, your focus will be to help design and deliver the strategic content roadmap and initiatives for the content team and value streams.


You will be managing a wide variety of initiatives including :


  • Support cross-functional value streams to deliver strategic content solutions that deliver on acquisition and retention targets
  • Prioritise, design, test and deliver personalised digital experiences across multiple audiences and channels
  • Develop content frameworks, tools and guidelines to enable personalisation at scale, improve efficiencies and uplift capabilities across the content chapter
  • Create content strategies and best practice guides for channels including web, app, Internet Banking and eDM
  • Analyse and synthesise data, research insights and information from multiple sources to arrive at elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Design A/B and user tests in collaboration with UX research and data teams to gain valuable insights to inform content strategy
  • Forward-plan your projects while articulating your timelines and prioritising your work to deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Manage and delight a range of senior stakeholders by sharing solutions, articulating the value of digital uplifts, listening, gaining buy-in and incorporating their feedback
  • Organise complicated rollouts that may involve many moving parts across various areas of the bank


Experience and skills required: 


  • Proven experience in creating scalable content strategies to deliver best-in-class personalised customer experience
  • Deep practical experience in overseeing projects with a customer-centric and human centred design lens
  • An ability to drive customer acquisition and service outcomes with a focus on meeting customer needs through personalisation
  • A deep understanding of the role of digital content design in crafting outstanding user experiences
  • Strong initiative, organisational and time management skills
  • Impeccable copywriting (including UX writing) skills and attention to detail
  • A passion to be digital and customer advocate at the squad/chapter/tribe level
  • An ability to assess complex situations and collaboratively work out best solution
  • Experience in an agile environment an advantage
  • Kindness, a sense of humour, strong interpersonal skills and the desire to contribute to a positive work environment and team culture
