Galina Velas

Hi! I'm Galina and I'm a highly experienced specialist in Digital Design and Development recruitment across freelance, permanent and contract.

My creative career started out as an Account Executive in an advertising industry after returning to New Zealand from working and travelling in Europe. I then found myself working for a private creative education provider in the careers department, helping young and upcoming creatives, developers, film makers and animators, get work-ready and place them into their first creative roles. In doing so, I have found my passion for match-making, with the next organic career step in the recruitment industry. 

Outside work you'll find me running or doing the coastal walks, surfing (which to me is riding white-wash), also I love to catch up with friends over a cocktail or three. My other passions are yoga, pilates and 'adopting' neighbour's cats.
