Recently, Time Under Tension, Australia's first generative AI experience agency, partnered with the team at Aquent Australia to host a Digitalks webinar exploring the exciting possibilities of generative AI for businesses. The session, led by co-founders Jason Ross and Tim O'Neill, provided valuable insights into the current state of generative AI and its potential applications across Customer Experience and Employee Experience for various industries.
Here are some of the key takeaways from our Digitalks webinar:
Generative AI is more than just a buzzword: It's a powerful tool that can be used to automate tasks, improve efficiency, and drive innovation. The webinar showcased real-world examples of how generative AI is being used in areas like employee experience, customer experience, and content creation.
For example, Tim and Jason demonstrated how generative AI tools like Runway and Midjourney can be used to create high-quality images and videos in a matter of seconds. They also highlighted the potential of Krea, an AI sketchpad, to help businesses generate new and innovative ideas. Another particularly exciting example is Sora, OpenAI's soon to be released video generation tool. Sora has the potential to revolutionise video production and VFX.
The potential applications of generative AI are vast:
From generating personalised marketing materials to creating realistic product prototypes, the possibilities are endless. The webinar explored various use cases across different industries, highlighting the transformative impact generative AI can have on businesses.
Jason and Tim demonstrated an experiment to showcase the power of generative AI in action for marketing. Using five different generative AI apps, they were able to create a complete marketing campaign – from market research and campaign ideas to illustrations and social media creatives – in just 59 seconds! While this was a highly accelerated example, it clearly demonstrates the potential of generative AI to significantly speed up and enhance the creative process.
Generative AI is still in its early stages of development:
While the potential is immense, it's important to remember that the technology is still evolving. Businesses need to be aware of the limitations and challenges associated with generative AI, such as bias and ethical considerations.
The webinar concluded with three key takeaways for businesses:
- Start learning about generative AI now: Don't wait to educate yourself and your team about this transformative technology. The sooner you understand its potential, the better equipped you will be to leverage its benefits.
- Experimentation is key: Don't be afraid to experiment with generative AI tools and explore different use cases. This hands-on experience will help you identify the best ways to utilise the technology within your organisation.
- Define responsible AI for your business: It's crucial to establish clear guidelines and principles for safe, ethical and responsible use of generative AI. This will ensure that you are using the technology in a way that benefits your business and society as a whole.
As generative AI continues to evolve, we are excited to see how innovative companies continue to push the boundaries and unlock its full potential.
