Director of Marketing Acceleration

What This Position Is :

You’ll be responsible for leading the Marketing Acceleration team, within the Marketing shared services organization The primary objective of this team is to drive continuous effectiveness and efficiency improvement and optimization across marketing and media channels that are core to the business strategies. You will provide best in-class support to brand marketing teams in designing and executing precision marketing campaigns. The DVP Marketing Acceleration will work hand-in-hand with brand teams to define, design, and drive best-in-class execution of precision marketing campaigns aligned with business goals and objectives communicated by brand leaders.

Who You Are:

  • You’re a strong communicator, able to work directly, frequently, with numerous teams to execute these tactics successfully against business goals, with ability to drive initiatives across multiple stakeholders to achieve goal
  • You have excellent project management skills (e.g., building & rigorously tracking work plan, meeting deadlines in an in-flux environment)

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in marketing or business
  • 8+ recent years in digital advertising / marketing, e.g.
  • Experience planning and/or executing programmatic campaigns within a brand
  • Experience planning, executing, and measuring marketing pilots
  • Role with a performance digital marketing agency (e.g., MightyHive, Jellyfish, Labelium,  iCrossing, FullSix Data, 55)
  • Work as a specialist for an independent trading desks (e.g. Tradelab, Infectious Media, Media IQ)
  • Account management at Ad Tech companies (e.g., FaceBook, DoubleClick, The Trade Desk, Media Math, AppNexus,  Criteo, Neustar
  • Deep understanding of digital lead generation and brand building techniques using Search, Social, Affiliate, and Programmatic (e.g. Targeting, content and creatives for programmatic and Social, SEO and SEM)
  • Certification in or extensive hands-on experience with Direct experience with key Ad Tech platforms such as AdWords, Google Analytics, Demand Side Platforms (DSP), and DMPs
  • Deep experience translating strategic business objectives into consumer-centric engagement tactics and proving those out
  • Significant experience communicating technical material to range of audiences, including brands, corporate leadership, technology partners, and agencies

 

What you’ll do:

  • Support brand teams in end-to-end orchestration of precision marketing campaigns and strategic tests, across key campaign phases (planning, design, execution, measurement)
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to refine suggested test & learn agenda, key KPIs, and performance targets to define campaign success and drive learning
  • Support and maintain precision marketing learning agenda across key media channels and brand team
  • Collect and compile pilots, matching to learning agenda where appropriate; prioritize and select pilots
  • Work with internal and external partners to ensure proper campaign and pilot set-up, and audit campaign setup to ensure accuracy
  • Work with internal and external partners to support ongoing optimization against key success KPI and learning agenda, enforce reporting, and escalate issues as they arise
  • Catalog ongoing learnings as they arise to help establish internal benchmarks, playbooks to be leveraged across brands and categories
  • Update the internal playbook, documenting learnings and educating broader organization as a “player coach” on precision marketing tactics to reinforce data-driven culture
