Media & Communications

  • Develop and implement an annual communications plan aligned with marketing focus areas.
  • Execute communication activities targeting automotive, lifestyle, and technology media to secure impactful coverage.
  • Draft press releases and speeches for executives.
  • Manage media drive events, including logistics, location selection, vehicle allocation, accommodation, and budgets.
  • Act as the official spokesperson for product-related media inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive, business, technology, and lifestyle media.
  • Plan, build, and manage the vehicle press fleet to maximise media exposure.
  • Analyse daily press coverage and monitor competitor media activity.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  • Further develop a pivotal initiative in collaboration with partners
  • Lead the launch of a new CSR partnership working with primary schools to encourage creativity among young students.

New Zealand Market

  • Engage with the New Zealand media to enhance brand and product exposure.
  • Support New Zealand media participation in new model launches internationally and in Australia.

Our client is a Global Automotive Enterprise and is looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager & Communications Manager to join their team!

As a pivotal part of Australian /NZ marketing team, you will develop, manage, and execute strategic corporate communications plans that align with a key premium brand positioning, support commercial opportunities and ensure that the key brand transformation and innovation stories are effectively communicated.

In 2024, the brand underwent its most significant transformation, revamping its product portfolio with a focus on circularity and personalised digital technology. There are countless stories to tell, and we need someone who can bring them to life!

Other Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in public relations at mid-management level, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong media relationships with a track record of securing impactful editorial coverage.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for communications, with an exceptional level of written and presentation skills. 
  • Previous experience in writing press releases and speech writing is essential.
  • The ability to act as a company spokesperson.
