We’re seeking a talented and passionate Creative Director with a genuine affinity for retail to join the team of a renowned retail client spanning both Australia and New Zealand.
This unique opportunity offers a 12-month maternity leave cover to lead the Creative/Design team of a major Australian brand.
As a senior-level position, you’ll report directly to the CMO and sit on the Senior Leadership team, requiring comfort and experience in engaging with the CEO in high-level discussions.
To excel in this role, we seek someone with agency experience or a background in fashion retail.
We are looking for a graphics-based Creative Director who can roll up their sleeves and provide direction to the team. This role demands hands-on involvement rather than being purely copy-based.
Integral to success is a deep understanding of fostering a positive work culture, ensuring team happiness and engagement.
Additionally, you must demonstrate a strong and proven understanding of marketing strategies and achieving targets.
This is not a stepping stone position, we require a candidate with over 10 years of proven experience, ideally with a big brand.
Our client, located in new offices in Ryde, offers a hybrid work arrangement of 3 days on-site and 2 days from home.

The salary for this role ranges from $150k to $165k (including super).
Please note: This role requires on-site work in Ryde for 3 days per week.
