About the Team

Our client is a digital agency based in Fortitude Valley that crafts stunning websites, develops smart digital strategies, and delivers creative solutions that help brands cut through the noise.

You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of designers, developers, and marketers in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. They’re now looking for a talented freelance designer to jump in and make an immediate impact—starting ASAP.

About the Role
We’re seeking a Graphic & Web Designer with a keen eye for detail, solid UX experience and the ability to bring design concepts to life across web and digital platforms. You’ll work across branding, UI and responsive layouts, collaborating closely with clients and developers to deliver beautiful, functional work.

What You’ll Bring

Design Expertise

• Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and user-first design
• Confident in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Experience with branding and crafting consistent visual identities
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma

Technical Know-How

• Solid HTML/CSS skills, with experience in responsive frameworks (Bootstrap or Tailwind)
• Basic JavaScript (and ideally some jQuery) for simple interactivity
• Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Webflow, Shopify)
• Familiarity with Git/version control and SEO best practices (semantic HTML, metadata, etc.)

Soft Skills

• Strong communicator who’s comfortable working with both creatives and developers
• Able to manage time and juggle tasks across multiple projects
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset

Bonus Skills

• Animation and motion design (Lottie, After Effects, CSS animation)
• Accessibility knowledge (WCAG)
• Understanding of web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar
