Client Description

Public Relations & Communications Manager

Are you a natural storyteller with a passion for connecting people and communities through impactful communications? Join a dynamic Marketing team as their new Public Relations & Communications Manager and help bring to life the enterprising heart of their work across Australia.

In this role, you’ll take charge of PR strategy, media relations, content creation, and brand storytelling. You’ll be building relationships with customers, employers, and internal teams—uncovering and sharing powerful stories that reflect the impact our client makes in communities nationwide.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive and implement PR strategy
  • Write and distribute compelling press releases
  • Develop media contacts and manage agency partnerships
  • Lead and mentor communications team members
  • Coordinate paid media opportunities and crisis comms
  • Interview stakeholders to generate engaging, human-led content
  • Track trends and prepare media insight reports for the Leadership Team

Other Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or similar
  • 4+ years in PR (agency or in-house)
  • Strong writing, editorial planning and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience managing content workflows and CMS (HubSpot/WordPress a plus)
  • Excellent time management and organisational capabilities
