About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer who can take on complex technical challenges and deliver clear, customer-focused solutions. You’ll work closely with partners and customers, develop deep expertise across the platform, and collaborate with other team members across multiple technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve challenging issues for enterprise customers and partners.
  • Troubleshoot and analyse the most difficult technical problems.
  • Provide clear, professional communication and guidance to high-value customer administrators and developers.
  • Work across incident, problem, and change management processes, as well as knowledge base, defect, and escalation management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve support practices.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years providing customer-facing technical support (web-based products or e-commerce preferred).
  • Strong ability to analyse log files and apply standard debugging concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving approach, analytical skills, and customer management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
  • Experience with dynamic HTML components: AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML/XHTML.
  • Strong JavaScript skills, with exposure to AngularJS and Jelly.
  • Experience with Java or similar backend programming language.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, or other operating systems.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working with the Service Now platform or something similar (Client Scripts, UI Policies/Actions/Pages/Scripts/Macros).
  • Experience providing SaaS or PaaS support.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
