Freelance Integrated Graphic Designer (Mid–Senior)

We are looking for a versatile Mid to Senior Integrated Graphic Designer on a freelance basis.

This role is hybrid (mix of onsite and WFH)

The Details

  • Location: Sydney (Hybrid)
  • Scope: 2-3 weeks. Starting Monday 9th March
  • Rate: Competitive day rate

The Role

You will be working across a diverse range of print and digital touch-points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Design: Execute high-quality design across brochures, social content, digital promotions, EDMs, and long-form reports.
  • Creative Development: Occasional brand/logo design and visual development for new campaigns.
  • Client Management: Lead brief-taking sessions, present work with confidence, and interpret/implement client feedback directly.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance to junior team members and perform final artwork checks to ensure everything is studio-ready.
  • Self-Management: Maintain a structured workflow and meet deadlines while working both in-studio and remotely.

About You

  • Integrated Skillset: 5+ years of experience across both print and digital platforms.
  • Agency experience required.
  • Software Savvy: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Client-Facing Confidence: You are articulate, professional, and comfortable explaining the “why” behind your design decisions.
  • Proactive Communicator: Because of our hybrid work model, you must be excellent at staying in touch and keeping projects moving while working remotely.
  • Reliability: You are highly organized, take pride in clean files, and can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding.

As this studio operates without dedicated account managers, you will be the bridge between creative output and the client. You’ll be supported by an experienced Creative Lead, but you should be comfortable “owning” your projects—from taking the initial brief to presenting the final polish.
