Our client, a leading Australian broadcaster, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Freelance Production Coordinator. It’s a 1-month assignment based on the Lower North Shore WFH twice a week, offering $250-300/day + Super.

As a Production Coordinator, you’ll support the Production Manager and Content Creators in ensuring that high-quality programming is delivered on time, within budget, and according to strict technical standards. This is a fast-paced role requiring a mix of administrative precision and creative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate film shoots, studio bookings, and postproduction schedules. Ensure all crew, talent, and resources are where they need to be.
  • Process invoices, track production expenses, and assist with budget reconciliation.
  • Assist in securing music clearances, talent release forms, and archival footage licenses.
  • Manage the flow of assets between production departments and ensure all metadata and technical requirements are met for broadcast.
  • Act as a central point of contact for internal departments (Legal, Finance, Marketing) and external vendors.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Production Coordinator within the TV, Film, or Digital Media industry (agency or in-house).
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of production workflows, from pre-production through
  • to delivery.
  • Proficiency in production software and budget tracking tools
  • A proactive “can-do” attitude and the ability to work under pressure in a live broadcast environment.
  • Knowledge of WHS requirements on set and in the office.
