Our client is an independent, Australian-owned full-service agency delivering strategic media solutions, creative campaigns and communications programs that drive measurable results.

We’re looking for a Senior PR Account Manager with 3–5 years of agency experience to lead client accounts, develop compelling stories, build strong media relationships and secure meaningful earned coverage.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing PR campaigns from strategy through to execution, working closely with clients, journalists and internal teams to deliver outstanding outcomes for their Non-for-Profit, Consumer and Tech Accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client accounts and relationships
  • Develop and execute PR strategies aligned to client objectives
  • Identify newsworthy story angles and media opportunities
  • Write press releases, media pitches, briefing documents and other PR content
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and influencers
  • Secure earned media coverage through proactive pitching
  • Coordinate interviews, media briefings and reporting
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with strategy, communications and creative teams on integrated campaigns

About You

  • 3–5 years’ PR experience, ideally within an agency
  • Strong media relations and pitching skills
  • Proven experience managing client accounts
  • Excellent writing, communication and storytelling abilities
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, self-motivated and solutions-focused
  • Existing media contacts are highly regarded
  • Experience within not-for-profit organisations is a bonus
  • Digital PR experience is advantageous
