A leading creative agency based in Melbourne is seeking a QA Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality, innovative digital experiences. This agency is known for its boundary-pushing software development and marketing technology, partnering with top brands to create engaging and technically sophisticated digital solutions.
This role is perfect for a QA Engineer who thrives on testing creative projects. You’ll work on a diverse range of digital experiences: from interactive websites to immersive applications, ensuring they function flawlessly and meet the highest quality standards.
The role is based in Melbourne, with a hybrid work model of three days in the studio per week.
Responsibilities
✅ Work on highly creative digital projects, ensuring seamless functionality across multiple platforms.
✅ Execute both manual and automated testing to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative and technical ideas to life.
✅ Develop and implement effective test strategies tailored to each project’s unique requirements.
✅ Build and maintain automated test suites for regression testing, ensuring consistency across releases.
✅ Identify, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
✅ Troubleshoot defects, working closely with developers to determine root causes.
✅ Continuously improve testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and maintain the highest quality standards.
What we’re looking for
🔹 Extensive experience in functional, integration, and cross-device testing for native mobile and web applications.
🔹 Strong troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve application defects efficiently.
🔹 Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders.
🔹 A structured approach to test planning, case development, and execution.
🔹 Hands-on experience with mobile automation testing using tools such as Appium (Webdriver.io) or Detox.
🔹 Web automation testing experience (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver) is a plus.
🔹 Knowledge of accessibility testing is advantageous.
🔹 Strong understanding of web technologies and experience with CMS platforms like Sitecore, Adobe AEM, and Contentful is a bonus.
🔹 Strong verbal and written communication skills to document and articulate issues clearly.
