Senior Product Designer – Discovery Focus

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Product Designer who thrives in the early stages of product thinking, someone who loves untangling complexity, shaping ideas into testable concepts, and designing with real users in mind.

You’ll be joining a major digital transformation project for a well-known Aussie brand, working on one of the most ambitious customer experience overhauls in the country. Think: consolidating 25+ digital entry points into one seamless customer portal.

Your mission? Work closely with the team to explore early-stage ideas, turn complex problems into simple, testable design solutions, and help shape what the future experience could look like. There’s a healthy backlog of customer challenges to work through, so curiosity, systems thinking and a proactive mindset will go a long way.

What you’ll be doing:

• Co-designing and prototyping new experiences based on discovery insights
• Collaborating closely with UX, content, research and delivery teams
• Translating early-stage ideas into testable, validated concepts
• Working on a product that will be used by a huge and diverse audience — from local small businesses to major retailers
• Designing a dash board that consolidates the whole brand into one clean space

What we’re looking for:

• A senior-level product designer with proven experience in discovery-heavy roles
• Someone who can prototype fast and with purpose in Figma
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Enterprise experience is highly regarded — this is a complex, layered project with lots of moving parts, so an ability to zoom out and design within larger systems is essential
• Bonus points if you’ve worked on large-scale digital transformation projects or customer portals

This is a role for someone who can design through ambiguity, get things moving quickly, and help steer the product vision from idea to execution.

Start date is ASAP, with interviews kicking off next week.

This is a 6-month rolling contract paying $787 + super per day.
