As a Senior Video Producer you will play a pivotal role in delivering world-class video content in close collaboration with partners in Design, Strategy, and Editorial. You’ll be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production workflows within a creative environment, managing deliverables ranging from trailer, promo, and sizzle video edits to title graphics and complex VFX projects.
The role requires a sophisticated understanding of both product functionality and design, from back-end interfaces to the front-facing customer experience, to ensure video content is optimised for the platform. Given the global nature of the team, the Senior Producer must maintain a high level of accountability while managing remote workstreams across multiple geographies, time zones, and timelines
Key Responsibilities
- Production Oversight: Lead footage-driven campaigns, including live action, VFX, motion graphics, and video editorial deliverables from initial concept to launch.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with creative directors, strategists, and editors to pitch and produce high-impact video content.
- Technical Quality Control: Oversee post-production processes (editing, color grading, sound design) and provide technical oversight to ensure creative teams work within specific product parameters.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, studios, and freelance talent, ensuring quality control at every stage.
- Project Leadership: Develop efficient production schedules and workflows, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous standards.
- Global Coordination: Maintain flexibility to participate in calls and collaborations outside of regular office hours to accommodate teams in the UK and US.
Professional Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years of experience within a production house, VFX vendor, or creative agency.
- Technical Mastery: Deep post-production technical experience and a comprehensive understanding of video’s role within platform, marketing, and social channels.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear project milestones.
- Financial Acumen: Extensive experience in project budget management and a firm grasp of cost parameters across various project types.
- Network: A local network of vendor and talent relationships is highly regarded.
This is a 6 month day rate contract with a strong possibility of extension. Offices are based in Sydney CBD, where you’ll be required to work at least 2 days per week. Meetings outside of standard business hours are excepted once or twice per week to connect with global stakeholders.
Applicants will be expected to show a portfolio or case studies to supplement their resumes. We will only consider candidates with previous experience in TV and film, ideally working on streaming content.
