Oracle Fusion Functional Lead — Finance & Projects
Contract: 4–12 weeks from April 2026
Commitment: Full-time
Location: Remote
Start: Immediately
The Role
Our client is commencing Oracle Fusion Cloud design workshops with DXC covering Finance (ERP, EPM), Procurement (SCM) and Projects (PPM). This is short-term support while the client identifies a longer-term option. The successful candidate must be available to start asap.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design workshops across Finance and Projects streams alongside DXC
- Provide functional guidance on GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management, EPM, project costing, budgeting and billing
- Represent the client’s interests and challenge design assumptions where needed
- Ensure integration points between Finance, Projects and Procurement are addressed coherently in design decisions
- Help the team understand trade-offs and make informed configuration decisions
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Strong Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (ERP) experience — GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and cash management
- Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM experience — project costing, budgeting and billing
- Participation in or leadership of design/blueprint workshops on at least one Oracle Fusion implementation covering both Finance and Projects
- Understanding of PPM, ERP and SCM integration — how project costs flow to GL and how procurement integrates with project commitments
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor to the client — guiding decisions, not just documenting requirements
- Available now
Desirable
- EPM experience — planning, budgeting and consolidation
- Utility, water or public sector implementation background
- Experience working with DXC or a comparable tier-1 system integrator
About You
- Oracle Fusion cross-module functional consultant with depth across Financials and PPM — the ideal profile, though rare in the market
- Oracle Fusion Financials lead with solid PPM knowledge — viable if you can hold your own in Projects design workshops, even if PPM isn’t your primary strength
- Oracle Fusion PPM lead with strong Financials grounding — viable if you understand the full cost-to-GL flow and can contribute meaningfully to Finance workshops
- Senior Oracle consultant transitioning from E-Business Suite — considered only if your Fusion experience across both modules is current and substantive
