We’re looking for a Campaign & Media Manager to join a busy Group Marketing team within a major Australian entertainment and hospitality business.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of things.
You’ll take marketing briefs from property teams and turn them into clear, workable campaign plans, bringing together media, creative, agencies, budgets, timelines and approvals to get campaigns into market.
You’ll work across multiple properties and a broad mix of campaigns, partnering closely with Property Marketing, Creative Services, Brand, Media, Finance and external agencies.
You’ll be the person making sure the brief is clear, the right people are involved, the budget is understood, creative is delivered, approvals happen and the campaign actually gets out the door.
There’s a lot happening across the business, so this is a great role for someone who is organised, practical and comfortable juggling multiple moving parts.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll coordinate the end-to-end delivery of campaigns, from the initial brief and planning through to launch and reporting.
That includes:
- Working with Property Marketing teams to understand their objectives, priorities and available budgets and turn these into clear campaign plans
- Coordinating campaign planning across Property Marketing, Creative Services, Brand, Media and external agencies
- Taking marketing briefs and translating them into clear creative and media requirements
- Managing campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals and feedback from brief through to launch
- Working closely with media teams and agencies on campaign planning, media spend, schedules and placements
- Helping teams understand how best to use their available media budgets across upcoming campaigns
- Coordinating creative requirements and making sure assets are delivered to the right specifications and deadlines
- Working with agencies and internal teams to keep campaigns moving and resolve issues as they arise
- Supporting new venue launches by working with Property Marketing, Operations, Creative and other stakeholders to pull together what needs to be delivered and when
- Managing multiple campaigns and competing priorities across different properties
- Keeping track of campaign budgets, supplier costs and approvals, working with Finance where required
- Keeping stakeholders informed and making sure everyone understands what is happening, what is needed from them and when
- Supporting campaign reporting and helping capture learnings for future activity
- Making sure campaigns meet relevant internal, legal and advertising requirements
The role sits right in the middle of Property Marketing, Creative Services and Media. You’ll need to be comfortable bringing different teams together, keeping everyone aligned and stepping in when something isn’t quite on track.
What we’re looking for
You might currently be a Campaign Manager, Media Manager, Integrated Marketing Manager, Account Manager, Account Director, Marketing Manager or experienced Marketing Project Manager.
Your current title matters less than the experience you bring.
We’re looking for someone who understands how campaigns come together and is comfortable taking a brief, working out what needs to happen and coordinating the people needed to make it happen.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience managing or coordinating integrated marketing campaigns from brief through to delivery
- Experience working with media agencies and/or creative agencies
- A good understanding of how media planning and buying fits into a broader campaign
- Strong project and campaign management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
- Experience working with budgets and a good level of financial awareness
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work across different teams and seniority levels
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to keep track of multiple moving parts without losing sight of the bigger picture
- A calm, practical approach when priorities change or something doesn’t go to plan
- The confidence to take ownership, ask questions and keep people moving
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to build good relationships quickly
You don’t need to be the person who knows every answer.
You do need to understand how a campaign comes together, know who needs to be involved and be able to work out what needs to happen next.
The environment
There’s a lot happening across the business, with campaigns running across multiple properties, new venues coming into the portfolio and plenty of different teams and agencies involved in getting things to market.
The team has been working to put more structure around the campaign process, so there is now greater visibility of upcoming activity and a clearer plan around new venue launches.
That said, things can still move quickly. A property might come to the team with a new opportunity, a campaign might need to get into market quickly, or priorities might shift.
You’ll need to be comfortable with a bit of organised chaos.
Someone who likes having a clear process but isn’t thrown when things don’t go exactly to plan. Someone who can bring structure and clarity without making things unnecessarily complicated.
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys working with people and is happy being the person who keeps everything moving.
Why this role?
You’ll get exposure to a genuinely broad mix of campaigns, media and marketing activity across a major Australian entertainment and hospitality business.
You’ll work across property marketing, new venue launches, creative, media, agencies, budgets and campaign delivery, rather than being responsible for just one part of the process.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the person who brings all of those pieces together and sees a campaign through from the first brief to getting it into market.
3-month full-time contract initially, with the potential to continue ongoing | Melbourne | ASAP start
If you’re the person who can take a marketing brief, work out what needs to happen, wrangle the stakeholders, keep the budget and timelines on track and get everyone to the finish line, I’d love to hear from you.
